High Peaks Resort
8/10 Good
"The resort was nice but very typical. We paid for a room with a view of the mountains/lake but did not get a view room which was very disappointing."
Prescott House ADK
8/10 Good
"I enjoyed having a nice cup of coffee at 5 am in the first floor welcome room. They even had a small fridge with Half-n-half. (Lactose intolerant varieties too) My room had a fridge and microwave which was awesome. The basement kitchen is amazing and the game room too. Parking is plentiful and my room had air con. The large backyard had a badminton set for all to enjoy."

"Room was clean and comfortable with large closet and fully equipped kitchenette with full sized appliances. Good location with chairs by room to sit and enjoy lake view and two gazebos on pond to enjoy. Close to downtown with boat and bicycle rentals available on premises. Good communication and amenities. "Perfect for a solo guy in his 60s on a motorcycle. Great location and lots to do nearby ."
Cadence Lodge at Whiteface
10/10 Excellent
"This is a very sweet lodge with wonderful owners - Shelly and her husband - and a delicious restaurant. You can bring food to grill yourself or eat at the restaurant on their lovely patio - we did both. The complementary breakfast on Saturday and Sundays is lovely as well. The lodge was originally built in the 60s and the rooms are a bit tight but they work!"
