City Center was the cheapest option I could find while I needed to stay in Vancouver for surgery. The location is good, as my support person and I were able to easily walk to a bunch of nice little shops, and skip the dishes had no issues delivering.
The room itself wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible either. There wasn't a microwave, mini fridge, or anything like that, but again, skip the dishes had no issues finding us, so we did fine for food. Cable was spotty and would work sometimes, but not others, and the wifi was horrible, but we had other entertainment with us, so that wasn't a huge issue. The bathroom tiles were pretty grungy, and we could definitely tell it was an older building in need of some upkeep, but the sheets were clean, there were no bugs, and for what it was, it was a decent stay.
There are definitely better hotels out there, but for a few nights where we needed something affordable, City Center worked perfectly fine.
