"We loved staying at this property. Comfortable beds, and the villa was immaculate. Our kids loved having the outdoor shower(s) and private pool. If other people were staying on the property, we didn't see them. We did not rent a 4wheel drive vehicle, which is highly recommended. The road leading to the villa was VERY steep. We were fine, but if it had rained during our stay we might have a different opinion on that choice!"

"We loved staying here! It’s secluded, intimate, and just picture-perfect. Abner was a great host and responded to small hiccups we experienced throughout the stay. There’s no light pollution so the stars shine bright and the howler monkeys made their presence known at night. The view in the morning is something to write home about. "Wow! Is all that really can be said. The natural beauty of this hotel are what other places spend thousands of dollars trying to recreate. Located on the river banks with nothing else in sight, thoughtfully manicured grounds giving way to the Belizean jungle. You truly can feel away from it all. The hotel offers a lot to do on-site as well canoeing on the river, mini golf, a swimming pool, spa services, hikes around the property and a good restaurant with bar. And they can also set you up for a tour to any one attractions in the area. The staff goes out of their to meet the needs of their guests. We stayed in the Owner's Suite on the far end of all the bungalows with the jetted tub on the balcony style patio overlooking the river. Totally private with a wide open view of the river and nothing else but nature to look. Amazing, highly recommend."

"Staff really made the whole difference for this experience. Everyone was so kind and helpful and went out of their way to make my time in Cayo the best possible. When an injury made my original plans impossible, they were ready with suggestions tor excursions and tours. I can’t wait to come back."

"The lodge was seclusive but had all the basic amenities that you would need. We loved that we were in a jungle environment and woke up with nature everyday. The staff were very helful and friendly and made our stay welcoming. Fiona's Cafe had amazing food for breakfast and dinner, with reasonable prices. We enjoyed our stay very much! "

"It was great. The waterfalls on site are stunning. The views from the restaurant are amazing and the staff was great. They were always friendly and attentive. The only complaint is that it needs some sort of AC for during the day. Fans weren't enough to keep the room cool in the hot season. Other times of the year I'm sure it's perfect. I'd still highly recommend it."
