The people were welcoming. The manager was very attentive to our needs and treated us like family! Because of the time and the weather we couldn’t take advantage of the golf course. We had a wonderful evening of entertainment with Clive and us singing Karaoke.

Beautiful property and the staff are friendly and professional. The resort was able to accommodate us on short notice when our previously booked lodging cancelled due unforeseen circumstances. The rooms are spacious and immaculate. The resort is lovely and great for bird watching. Highly recommend a stay at Roaring River Resort and Golf Course!

This property was a beautiful surprise. We intended a stopover only and wished we had booked a longer stay! We met lovely people, had delicious meals, beautiful sleep and woke up to the best birdsong!

I had a wonderful experience during my recent stay at Roaring River. The rooms were exceptionally quiet and peaceful, providing the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The cleanliness standards were impressive - everything was spotless and well-maintained throughout my visit. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone I encountered was genuinely friendly and welcoming, making me feel valued as a guest from check-in to check-out. Their warm hospitality added so much to the overall experience. I would definitely recommend Roaring River to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and peaceful place to stay with outstanding service. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Mine was a business trip.

I love this resort; the staff is friendly, professional, accomodating, and make sure you have everything you need. The food is delicious! Nice challanging golf course with a golf pro for lessons if you need them. I absolutely enjoyed my birthday stay here. Adalia and Anna in housekeeping are exceptional! Elizabeth, Carla, Henry, and JoAnn are all great hospitality centered people and always smiling. Nicolas, the golf pro was very nice and offered tips on my golf swing. I will definitly be visiting Roaring River again next year and encourage anyone interested in a quiet, relaxing environemnt where you can play golf everyday without leaving the property to visit Roaring River. I miss the Karaoke night but I'm sure it was fun. Check out their website for more information.

Full disclosure: we didn't get to stay here. This is why I would absolutely give it 5 stars regardless: We got caught in Tropical Storm Sara which left us stranded at Belize City. Every hotel in the immediate area was booked. I was able to find this at the last minute and booked it. Erroneously, their website had not shut down in time to prevent me from booking there because they too were experiencing flooding and had to shut down their resort. While most others could have just looked at us and said "sorry, too bad" they not only helped us, but assisted us in finding another hotel. Pete, the owner even gave us a ride to our hotel. Let me tell you, when we get back here one day, we will come patron the resort when it's not in a storm - they were so incredibly warm, accommodating, and from what we could see in the dark, the resort grounds looked amazing. Come check them out!!!!
