"We enjoyed our overnight stay at Christmas Creek Cafe & Cabins. The cabins were basic but clean, there was a small heater, enough to take the edge off the chill in the room and plenty of warm blankets provided. We made a small fire down by the creek and the kids loved playing in and around the creek. Was lovely to get away and disconnect from the everyday routine! "

"We knew this wasn’t going to be the Hilton. But we didn’t want it to be. It was humble, homely and in the most incredible location. We had dinner at a near by Italian restaurant and then saw a cool band down at the middle pub. The next day we went to Crystal castle. All of these activities were so convenient thanks to the location of our accommodation at this motel. The rooms were way cuter than we thought too. We would stay again :) "

"Pros: The retreat room is small but it is cleverly designed to suit your needs and comfort. There are hiking tracks suit all levels and ages, even suitable for wheelchairs. Fantastic mountain view from the room, a lot wildlife, clean air, friendly helpful staff.... Cons: food is expensive. Retreat room doesn't have cooking facilities. "
