"Breakfasts was very poor value for money...as a vegan there was no hot food ( mushrooms, tomatoes, potatoes ) and no dairy substitutes like cheese or yogurt available. There should be a warning when booking that €18 is too much for fruit juice, granola and toast. I spoke to the manager but he wasn't bothered. We had a torn curtain in our room but otherwise it was clean and quiet and felt safe."

"The reception staff was very helpful and kind, forthcoming and efficient and the rooms were quite nice, orderly and with good linens and a good bathroom. Well positioned, just steps from the museum quarter and Mariahilfe Strasse and even closer to the main public transportation network. The best place/price that I’ve found in this area"

"Top marks to the staff on the 8th floor - very well looked after at breakfast, Perhaps to an Austrian five different colours of carrot for breakfast and a printed menu offering a variety of dishes, so long as you wanted eggs, is the norm...? The lack of clothes storage in the rooms wasn't helpful, and an explanation of the lighting system would have been useful; it appeared to be either "all on" or "all off"."

"I really don’t want to sound that grumpy, but there are pros and cons for this hotel. Smooth check in, not that clean room, as I had no asthma attacks for years, and after I entered the room I struggled breathing. The same happened on the 2nd night, so I asked to vacuum clean the floor and this was accommodated. Not sure if it was placebo effect but I could breath in the room. Very noisy room, could hear traffic, people outside until 2am (for 3 nights) at 6am rubbish removal, road traffic restarted etc. breakfast is basic, but not that bad. The staff would benefit from training on how to be friendly. A little smile would not hurt. No need to chase customers and recheck the room number especially if it took awhile to be seated. The rooms are not cleaned by default and you have to ask for this at reception. "
