"Clean room, underwhelming small breakfast however staff were lovely. Very basic food at the linden tree restaurant, ordered buttermilk chicken bao buns but it was grilled chicken not buttermilk and was overcooked. Steak was also overcooked but staff did change the steak for me. Nice hotel, couldn’t fault the staff but food was not great. "

"Stayed here a number of times. It's perfect for a quiet retreat with no distractions such as TV or phones. Owner tim is always on hand polite and helpful. Highly recommend the place."

"This centrally located hotel is perfect for a trip in or around Morpeth. We were a group of four in two rooms. The rooms were large and spacious, and the beds comfortable and clean. The rooms and public areas would benefit from some decoration as they detract from the fantastic customer service the staff offers. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we were in the area"
