"Arabella overall was an excellent stay. The pools were pristine, very clean. Walking distance to downtown area is a plus! The only issue we really had was with Esther in housekeeping. We had asked for our room to be cleaned on the 2nd or 3rd day of our stay. We were out for the morning, returned, to a clean room. We went to the pool, and after a little bit, I went back to the room to Esther leaving it. She seemed stunned and exasperated telling me she had so many rooms to clean and her coworker had called off. Thought it was a little strange, she was in our room but also didn’t think too much of it after her complaining… Later that night, my friend pulled her sheets back and a god awful smell filled the room. It was the bedding! We called and asked for new clean bedding which was brought up right away. We changed and put the dirty stuff outside and the smell went away. So we know it was definitely that, and Esther had something to do with it! Other than that, staff was very friendly and accommodating, we needed extras towels and they were brought to us in a timely manner. The breakfast is really good too! The ladies run it so efficiently and everything was delicious! Overall our stay was very pleasant and we will definitely be returning! "

"First of all I expected this place and room to be a positive experience. Let’s start with as soon as you walk into the room there is a sink immediately to your left. The bathroom was as big as closet. When you close the door you have an inch between the toilet and the door. Once you close the door there is not a lot of room to maneuver. The vents were dusty and the light fixtures dirty on the inside. The screen door to balcony is old and not working correctly. The peephole on the door did not work correctly to I had to put a piece of paper in it. Carpet was sticky in spots. And there is NO WAY the sheets were changed from the last guest. I paid for an early Check in and the room wasn’t ready. So they did a quick pick up. The sheets were wrinkled (see pictures). I’ve been traveling for 3 weeks and stayed in about 7 different hotels. This is normal for me. So I know the difference. On the POSITIVE, the staff at check in was AMAZING. The bed was comfy. I could have gotten better views for less. "
