"This was our first stay at a ‘chateau’ and it was amazing. The historical mansion filled with antiques was magnificent. The grounds were expansive and were well kept. Hospitality by the family was heartwarming. The rooms were well appointed , spacious and very comfortable. Please know, to get around, one does need a car. "Conveniently located for an easy access to all the historical sites, the hotel provided comfort and safety. Ample breakfast with vegan options and well labeled choices was served in a bright and welcoming environment. Coffee machine with hot water option was set up in the lobby, along the microwave. Interesting in-room bathroom pod needed an extra deep cleaning, but everyday room service was very good. "
