"Because of terrible communication from the lady handling check in, we were led to believe there was no heat in the hotel “because it’s between seasons”. Our room was 61°. When I returned to the desk to ask for additional blankets, I could hear other sections of the property did have heat so I requested another room. Why wasn’t this offered in the first place? I waited about 15-20 minutes both times I approached the desk. No apology, no offer of assistance, just a smirk. The lady at check out was more polite and did apologize for the situation. She said the lack of heat was from a burst pipe. I will say once we were in a room with heat, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. "

"Stayed with family and a cat. Very decent hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I like how there is an indoor pool which my daughter enjoyed. The breakfast was good too, though there was only boiled eggs for protein choices. Will always remember this place. Thank you so much!"

"Staff were all super friendly. Having a restaurant in the hotel was excellent for dinner given the limited options in the town. Gift shop inside was also very good. We were traveling with our dog also. Definitely recommend staying here. "

"This is a small, independently owned hotel. It's an older property but has been renovated. While it isn't fancy, I could tell the owners had tried to be very thoughtful and considerate in so many small touches that big hotels chains just don't care about any more. I felt like applauding their efforts. Breakfast wasn't anything special, all pre-packaged food. Parking was great. Staff was helpful. Check-in was slick and easy. Room felt very clean. I wish they had better curtains. "

"Dirty, smelly, hair in the bed, run down, noisy. Everything I don't want in a room, this place had it. I dropped a towel on the floor, picked it up, and it had dirt caked on it. That's how dirty the floors were. I skipped the shower in the morning and left as soon as the sun was up. If I ranked every hotel/motel that I've stayed in during my entire life, I would rank this one dead last. If you're going North on 191 continue to Moab. If south, better options in Blanding. I fell for the other reviews, which I cannot believe are real."
