"This was billed as a hotel and was not. Even the taxi driver could not find it! It is a tiny apartment next to the laundry room on the ground floor under a train trestle. "Loved the view from this property overlooking the lake. Would have like air conditioning. A warning to anyone washing their clothes in the on-site laundry. It automatically dispenses soap and even after washing out clothes a few times after it stank of the soap smell very strongly. It gave my wife a headache and eyes watered. "Lovely three night stay. Hotel is old school but in a positive way. All the staff are very attentive and helpful. The public areas are immaculately maintained and our room was spotless. The hotel has direct access onto the lakeside promenade. It's a fifteen minute walk into the town centre and about 1 hour walk to Chateau Chllon."
