"Room was updated. clean and quite spacious. Very high ceilings throughout and updated bathroom with a rainfall shower with great water pressure. The grounds were stunning and spread out so nothing felt crowded. We never had an issue getting beach chairs or chairs at the pool in the height of spring break season"

"I am not one to post reviews often but was disappointed with our stay at Hotel Nest. I was in town for a bridal expo with my fiance and I wish this weekend wasn't tainted by our experience. We booked a flight plus hotel bundle through Expedia for two people from Florida to Puerto Rico. My aunt (who speaks Spanish and was translating for us at the expo traveled from the west coast of the island -- 2 hours) to help with our planning. Our plan was always for her to stay for only that night. When we got to the hotel we had to sign a policy of maximum 2 guests occupancy -- even for visiting! No where was that mentioned at booking. We were told we had to pay the equivalent of a full night's stay for my aunt to stay with us. But didn't offer us a room for her. This hotel has rooms with double beds, but only maximum 2 people? I would have booked elsewhere, had we'd known at booking - however it was no where mentioned on the Expedia booking process that only 2 people were allowed in each room. We ended up paying $200 and honestly felt schemed for more money. On top of that, there was still trash in the room, the internet / TV was not working, and there was no hot water in the shower at all. We mentioned this to the staff, who fought on our behalf to make accommodations for my aunt, the manager refused. We were also told the manager was going to call us, but never did. Important to note, this hotel is NOT IN SAN JUAN. It is in Rio Pedras, an area that felt unsafe, many homeless. "

"This place was nice and clean but not my idea of a vacation stay! The pool is nice! The rooms are clean and great ac but I thought being that it’s an ocean front property that I’d have access to the beach and that wasn’t the case! Price was decent and privacy was great but again not my idea of a vacation stay! Perfect for a last minute reservation type deal!"

"Located in a hospital. Exterior images on Hotels.com are misleading. Very difficult to find. Parking was $1 per hour, which was also NOT stated on Hotels.com. "

"Ok for solo travelers, too tiny for a couple, space not well distributed. Example; you have plenty of chairs and tables in the outside and balcony why have more in the room being so tiny. I recommend an inchannel door for the bathroom. Toilet with no room to sit and stretch your right leg. Wasnt cleaned properly with dirty glass and spider webs. You can get rid of the small fridge, not needed since you have 24hr kitchen in the downstairs. "

"If you arrive late in the evening, the location can feel a bit eerie—it’s very quiet, and you can hear birds chirping. There’s a lovely terrace and beautiful nature around. However, it’s quite remote, with no restaurants or shops nearby. The bed is very uncomfortable—too soft, with synthetic bedding. The furniture is okay."
