"We spent here for two nights on our nine-day trip to Costa Rica and loved it. The location to the Cloud Forest Reserve National Park was perfect and within walking distance to town. We had a car but walking around Monte Verde was a delight. 
There are five private cabins on-site with a great communal family area and an amazing outdoor space. The property gated, secured and very private. 
 The cabins are beautifully decorated, spotless with stunning floor to ceiling windows. We specially enjoyed seeing wildlife running across the open field. Regina gave us a very warm welcome upon arrival. My only recommendation is additional coffee. We had coffee for one day and weren't able to get more. Overall it was a lovely experience."

The presentation and service was just above average. The staff attempted to address the issues and I would recommend giving it another try. "

"The staff here are amazing and go above and beyond for their guests! During the drive from La Fortuna up and down winding roads, our daughter was sick twice (last time being 5 minutes from the hotel). The team were so caring and helpful in helping us get her and the car sorted before we even officially booked in. We opted for the laundry service which was well priced and super convenient. The room had everything we needed and the bathroom products were amazing. Very well positioned with some great recommended restaurants nearby. They even helped organise a last minute night tour with a local company, where we saw lots of amazing wildlife. The included breakfast was delicious and made to order every morning. Banana pancakes were a highlight as was the complimentary popcorn in the afternoon for the children. I would not hesitate to stay here again and will be recommending to everyone."

"The room and the property could not be at a better place, right next to the CloudForest Entrance. Rooms are spacious and clean, in the middle of nature. Front desk staff was very helpful in explaining the different options of how we could utilize the couple of days, with different tours, and also helped us in booking some tours and the taxis. The common room is quite big with coffee in the morning. Only suggestion for the management will be to make the shared kitchen a little bit better equipped. Otherwise, this was a wonderful stay, and would stay again in our next visit."

"Room was clean and spacious, large bathroom, shuttle staff were very friendly. Had a great view from room and able to see lots of different wildlife - recommend watching sunset and night tour - was disappointed had to pay additional $20 to hike trail at the top of the hill. Breakfast buffet was ok - traditional Costa Rica breakfast options. Wish the pool bar was opened longer to have time to swim and relax after done with tourist attractions and supper"
