"I had a really nice stay at this hotel. It was clean, had all the useful amenities in the room, and I felt safe traveling alone there. I really appreciated the card-less entry into the room, it made adventuring much easier not having to worry about losing my key card and just entering a code to get in. The property looks like it is in the process of being updated/remodeled, and I was in an updated room. I think this was a great budget-friendly hotel, very near to beach access and restaurants, but outside of the hustle and traffic of Monterey. The only downside was that there were no blackout drapes, just cute beachy shutters that had light come through more than blackout drapes would, but it was fine."
