"Breakfast was great. A lot of choice and the omelet bar was awesome and the staff was great. I wish there were a pair of sleeper. The reason I gave 4 for maintenance was that there were mold in shower room, not working lights, and the light over bathroom sink was not bright. Other than that I enjoyed the staying at the hotel."

"I was a little scared after reading some of the other reviews, but the towels were white and the bedding smelled clean. I missed out on the champagne check in and the wine, that would have been nice. The location is great. My only complaint was the check in wasn't really friendly and we had to wait a few minutes for someone to show up at the front desk."

"Just a single night stay but great nonetheless. We did the 17 mile drive on electric bikes rented from "Big Sur" so the hotel location for this was excellent. Very large and clean room. Grab and go breakfast box was an added bonus and nice touch. Free parking."

"We had the two-bedroom cottage with a kitchen. The spaces were comfortably large and seemed recently modernized, but the sense of what it had been fifty years prior was still present. Breakfast consists of bagels, muffins, cookies etc. that are available in the office along with coffee, but there is no indoor seating area. Everything can be taken back to one's room or one can use the outdoor picnic area. I would not hesitate to go back."

"Absolutely loved this stay. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a fireplace in the room which made it romantic. The location is beautiful and while we could not see the ocean, we could hear it. The deer were everywhere was green. Weather was nice. Would definitely stay there again."
