"The entire hotel is super clean. The rooms and bathroom is spacious. There’s a nice restaurant on the first floor. The hotel offers a very nice cup of coffee in the morning in the lobby. There’s are a happy hour between 5-6pm served in the lobby. All nice amenities offer with the stay. The hotel offers a valet service. The location of the hotel is great. One block to the water and one block to several very nice restaurants."
"My daughter and I stayed for a sporting event. The staff was helpful. The cafe didn’t have a wide variety of food for late afternoon and we had to go off site to eat. Overall the experience was lovely. Conveniently located near 17 mile drive, the beach and shops in Pacific Grove."
"Overall OK experience, super friendly staff and great area. Very outdated room. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage and the smell of bleach was overwhelming. Condensation in the bathroom plus old windows, no curtains over the blinds so it felt like there was no privacy in the bathroom and the light outside showed through the blinds so brightly we had to find a way to cover the windows our first night. They took the light bulb out for us the second night. Very tight parking lot at night when everyone is parked.
cottage has 2 beds, a walk through with a counter, fridge and microwave, then a bedroom with another bed with the bathroom. No lock on the bathroom. Two tables outside inbetween the cottages.
The other standard rooms look like the windows have been updated and the handicap cottage looks updated as well. The other 3 cottages have the old windows. I did notice another cottage had curtains inside so just know the rooms may not be consistent with this review.
Very uncomfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom was crusty around the baseboards. Good water pressure though.
Honestly it’s mixed. I give it a 4 star because the staff was so friendly and it was overall clean. The office has coffee and better creamer than the rooms.
Not a horrible stay but I wouldn’t stay again for the price we paid (I guess we went during the car show whoops) or if there was another option for somewhere else.
If you’re not picky and just need somewhere to sleep or need a big room, it’s fine."
"Everything was clean. Staff were great. Easy parking. AC worked great. Centrally located and a short walk to some nice restaurants. Short drive to Aquarium and other attractions."
