"We had a great experience staying at Colton Inn during our trip to Monterey. The location is perfect — just a short walk to downtown, restaurants, and close to Cannery Row and Fisherman’s Wharf. It made getting around super easy. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The beds were cozy, and we appreciated the private balcony for some fresh air. Parking was convenient and included, which is a huge plus in Monterey. The complimentary breakfast was simple but good — enough to start the day before exploring. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, great value for the location and comfort. Would definitely stay here again! "

"My first choice in Monterey! I am a repeat customer here, so this review comes after over three years of staying here probably around 50 nights over the three years. I come back here because the staff is family operated, and their computers save my preferences, since some rooms don't work for me, but it's in their system so every time I call, they know what rooms I prefer. They just did a remodel, and the price is still very competitive! "
