The restaurant was great, offering local foods typical of the area though they are strict about reserving in advance even as a guest. The real standout was the staff, very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Wish we spent more time by the pool and on property as it was perfectly tranquil and scenic. "

"Carolina and Paulo were amazing hosts! This property is truly a little garden oasis — absolutely beautiful, with so many lovely places to sit and relax by the pool or throughout the gardens. Make sure you leave yourself time to enjoy the property itself. Breakfast on the patio was wonderful, and Carolina gave us several great dinner recommendations that made our stay even better. 10/10 — we would absolutely stay here again!"

"Wow is an understatement. This was the most spectacular part of our entire Italy trip. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed. The sprawling property is spectacular to roam around. Lots of space to go for a run. Easy to get to Montepulciano and Pienza. Nice to meet so many other travelers. The room was quaint, beautiful, clean and unique. The beds are very comfortable with lots of pillows and nice linens. Plenty of fresh air and sounds of animals from outside. The breakfast was...

"I'm seriously impressed by how beautiful this hotel was. Rustic, beautiful tiles and floors, doors, gorgeous gardens and pool, all built into the side of a mountain with a stream running by as a view for breakfast. The room was also spacious and clean. The bathtub also apparently doubled as a jacuzzi though I didn't partake. The pool was beautiful. Breakfast was good. Air on included. Parking included. Rooms were quiet despite property being near a road. "

"We had a fantastic stay at Le Ragnaie in Montalcino! The location is great for accessing wineries and surrounding area. It was peaceful, scenic, and perfectly situated for exploring the region. Our room was spacious, clean and beautifully appointed, offering great comfort and charm. The pool was a highlight, especially after warm afternoons of wine tasting. The breakfasts provided were second to none as well. The staff - A+. Everything about the property was well cared for. Highly recommend!"
