Room was clean & the front desk staff was friendly. We only stayed one night, but the motel met our expectations. Would recommend if you’re looking for a budget stay in Montauk.

Merle. I typically find that how you are greeted is an indication of how the stay will be. Merle was so friendly and chatty. And kindly let me check in early. All the staff I encountered were warm and friendly. And thank you, Dawn, for the daily housekeeping service. The Harborside had everything I needed. A coffee making facility would have been nice. The property is 10 minute walk into the Harbor and the restaurants. The stay was very quiet - no noise from other folks. The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again. Merle - hope the triathlon went well 😁

I cannot say enough great things about the Harborside Motel. It still has that “old Montauk” feel which is exactly what we wanted. No need for anything over the top when you truly go to Montauk for what it’s intended for. The Harborside Motel is very clean and the staff were on point about coming daily to clean the room and replenish our towels. The staff is also great about keeping the pool and outside area looking clean and beautiful. For a junior room, we had a huge bed and it was comfortable. The location is perfect, tucked away from all the hustle and bustle but still extremely close to the beach and restaurants/entertainment. We brought our bikes with us and it was perfect distance to bike around to places. The staff was very attentive and always in the office when we needed something! We loved this place!

Very peaceful, comfortable, and polite staff. The lady checking us in was very nice as it was our first visit to Montauk. She had no problem answering our question, was informative about the area and even gave us pamphlets related to what we asked. I hope to go back and stay there again as the weather didn’t give us a chance to enjoy the pool.

Ice is an amenity for all lodging facilities, especially in the summer.do if you have a full knee replacement surgery recent to your stay, tough luck. Refrigerators were un-plugged & took a full 24 hours to cool down. So, either way you couldn’t enjoy a cold drink until then. Complimentary soaps were a joke, couldn’t get even a dime sized amount to wash your hair. Location is far from any beach in Montauk; definitely not walkable. Rooms were very clean. Overall, even for the price you pay Harborside Motel it most definitely not worth it.

Great choice if you’ve spent the whole day exploring Long Island and Montauk, taken in a ton of impressions, and all you want is to sit down for dinner with your group, relax, and crash for the night. My friends and I had a 5/5 experience. We really enjoyed everything.
