"Clean, air conditioned room, comfortable bed, good shower. Only one bedside table, no drawers or hanging space. The bar and restaurant had been very nicely refurbished. We sat outside for evening meal, garden bit overgrown and meal felt rushed but food was good. Breakfast was basic, just croissant, coffee, juice and bread. Good location for exploring the area."

"Quick one night stop over on route from UK via Cherbourg to Dordogne. 2 adults 3 young kids. We booked the wooden Summerhouse/Chalet because it was more fun for the kids. We got exactly what we booked, perfect. Our host was very friendly and helpful given our poor spoken French. Woke up with the song from the birds in the woods. Breakfast was perfect, great coffee, freshly baked bread, home made jams, apricots, yoghurts and pain au chocolat."

"Absolutely loved our quick stay. Pascal was a perfect host and I fell in love with his dog “Tattou”. We had Pascal cook us our evening meal and it was the best piece of salmon I’ve ever eaten. Our room, Pascalon Pavilion was spacious and clean. This place is a treasure, I wish I had planned a longer stay. "

"The hostess/owner is fabulous! She went above and beyond to help make our stay in the Loire Valley run smoothly. She even drove us to and from the car rental agency! Breakfast is delightful, including home made jams, and the location is beautiful. I wish we'd had more time to stroll around the property. There is a small shared kitchen with plates/glassware, utensils and a fridge. Go to the Amboise market for picnic foods and dine al fresco on the property at one of the outdoor tables. Highly...

We arrived late on a Sunday evening, too late to start thinking about a restaurant but the team at A La Lettre The cooked us a dinner to die for. Friendly, attentive, understanding. We are mono-lingual English speakers but all our queries were answered with patience and tact. Coco the cockatoo added to the mix with a series of calls that amused us. No AC, No Hairdryer, Shower head has to be held to be used, Dirty floors with circular burns in carpet, no toiletries or towels, no AC in fitness center, very sketchy area, dirty refrigerator, no coffee, very late checkin and very early checkout. Worst place I have EVER stayed. "

"The hotel is comfortable but located in a sketchy area. It’s convenient for three reasons, available parking for a fee, a shopping mall across the street with a small supermarket and a tram that takes you to the city center across the street on the main avenue. "
