"My first stay here was a 10/10 and I was excited to return. This time, they were fully booked so they weren’t able to honor the room I paid for through Expedia and I had to take a different room. The room was not as expected - food was in the fridge and there were hairs in the bathroom and on a pillow. The staff was super friendly at check in and I appreciated that despite the issues above."

"From the day we checked in until the day we checked out everything was great. Rebecca checked us in and she was very nice and friendly and helpful, the entire staff were also very polite and friendly. The room was very clean and the breakfast was delicious. We have no complaints at all, we will definitely be staying at this Hampton Inn in Covington, VA as we have family in the area."

"We had a great time at the General Lewis. The accommodation was clean, staff friendly and helpful, and food was delicious. There’s a lovely patio area and a garden behind which was perfect to sit in in the evening with a glass of wine. Highly recommend!"

"Spacious, clean and comfortable. The little kitchenette was great for breakfast. Good restaurants nearby. We stayed in the main house, even though we were facing Main St with a busy restaurant below, our space was quiet. Highly recommended."
