Very clean, quiet and friendly staff. Was able to get the shower fixed to have hot water. The only downside was not having street lighting on the road so it would not be the safest to walk around at night. 10 min walk to the beach

Reasonable stay

The location is pretty good, the way to the ocean is close, but pretty rough. A good store is not within walking distance, but a 3 minute tuk-tuk ride away. The apartment is ok, a bit outdated, but roomy. The pool is spacious, looks outdated but clean, the good part is that there are usually not many people there. The guards at the property are very friendly.

The worst place in Diani I have ever stayed.

First day … no hot water. Second day I complained. They said a plumber had come and there is hot water. I came back at 3 pm. No hot water. The supposed plumber came again and now found a loose wire. The guy had a bad attitude but got us hot water. Warm shower at 4:30 pm. But in the evening there was no hot water again. Next morning I demanded a room with hot water. I had to wait for over an hour and then the lady came with the apparent owner of the resort. I short Italian guy with really bad body odor. Yuk!! Instead of giving me another room the guy wanted to get a new water heater. In less than an hour. When we left over an hour later the smelly guy was still telling the unskilled plumber what to do. Finally, the last night we had hot water. But the Wi-Fi is ridiculous. Spotty and goes in and out. Look at the photo with their ridiculous explanation. All it takes one guest to watch Netflix and you will have no bandwidth left. Totally ridiculous!!

Es ist soweit sauber, Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gut gesichert. Reinigungspersonal sollte mehr Tools erhalten, Boden musste sie steinzeitlich auf Knien von Hand reinigen, das sollte mal geändert werden. Pool etwas salzig aber sehr sauber. Ein Tipp für das Management: mit ein kleinen Bär am Pool das bei Hochzeiten geöffnet ist könnte noch etwas Geld dazuverdienen werden 😉

Gut, ruhig, Zimmer gross genug, 2 Toiletten mit Dusche. Pool sauber Leider war die Küche under Renovation, erst 2 Tage vor Abreise wieder offen. Frühstück für den Preis gut 10 Minuten zu Fuss zum Strand, am Strand Massage und in der Nähe zwei Bar/Restaurants

The stay at Aqua resort was unpleasant. The toilet was emitting a terrible smell from the floor trapping which was repaired the next day. However, the smell subsided for a day, then worsened, this time from the toilet bend connector(see attached picture) which was torn. Other guests in the adjacent apartment complained of the same issue. Upon reporting the issue to the management, they promised to send a plumber the next day but never did throughout the 12 days stay. All this while, the management did not communicate on the status of the repair. Yet, it was simple fix of replacing the toilet bend. The management only offered changing to another apartment on the ground floor which was not better either, as it was noisy due to its proximity to the gate and the parking and with limited privacy. The kitchen facilities are wanting. The cooking pots are old and not fit for purpose (see attached picture). Additionally, the cutlery provided was rusty (see attached picture) the management did not bother to have them cleaned before check in. The internet coverage is patchy and intermittent. There’s no infrastructure to support adequate signal coverage. Yet it blames the network providers as per the placard (see attached picture). The management also failed to address a missing coat from the apartment. I politely notified the management to check whether it was picked by mistake,since its white like the bed linen. To date, I have not heard from the property management.

Sejour tres agréable dans un bel appartement spacieux avec un balcon avec vue sur la mer. Très bel accueil de la responsable qui est a l'écoute de ses client. Bon petit déjeuner servi avec le sourire. Il ne manque que la wifi côté piscine pour rester connecté avec ses amis.
