"The staff and pool are absolutely fantastic with plenty to do. We didn't get take the opportunity to explore the 'Island of Stars' as the main pool wasn't uncomfortably busy and we were only on a reasonably short stay. Also cant comment on the food as we ate out each day with friends who live locally. Unfortunately the rooms (or at least the one I was in) are in a need of a bit of a refresh although this could be easily achieved. Our room could have done with being a little more spacious and it was a little bizarre how the middle door on the wardrobe was fixed shut (although we did choose a basic room). Was also a little odd how there was a door frame on the one wall which had just been blocked in with plasterboard, but the door architrave left in situ? No issues with hot water availability and the cleaners are constantly working away to keep the communal areas and rooms as clean as possible (With the exception of the communal shower... to be covered separately). On the final day it was our intention to use the downstairs communal shower as our airport shuttle wasn't until 5pm. We checked on the facilities early in the day and found them to have a foul sewage smell. At that time there were two people showering and one was literally heaving at the smell! Later in the afternoon we found raw sewage spewing from the toilets and all over the floor in the mens toilets in particular. Staff were aware and just said it would be cleaned tomorrow. "

"Everything at Radisson Blu was amazing. From check in and welcome to checking out. Nothing was too much trouble. Staff were super friendly, food choice and quality was great. We were pleased to have water replenished in the room daily. As there was capacity in the hotel we were able to check out later. Our request for a topper to go on the sofa bed was quickly activated. We can’t praise the hotel enough. There’s a nice walk to the port with lots of restaurants if needed. We’ll be back."

"Stay away if you can, bed sheets had stains and headboard of bed had blood stains. Shower was full of small flys. We were only staying here for one night so didn’t make much difference but I definitely wouldn’t be back."

"Lovely stay at Gloria Palace royal, hopefully these words help: - taxi from the airport is around 70€ - breakfast is fantastic, plenty of cooked options and the freshly made omelette was a favourite of ours. - rooms are spacious and overlook the beach, but are starting to look a little dated. - maid comes everyday if you leave the sign on the door and brings 500ml of still and sparkling water. - there is no iron or ironing room…this was the biggest annoyance as we had to then pay for the ironing, so 7€ a dress and 5€ a shirt as example can soon add up. So either take your own iron or be prepared to pay. That said, the ironed clothes was returned in 24 hours (but could take 48)!! - hotel is spotlessly cleaned. - infinity pool is great and has a water dispenser, so take a refillable bottle, it helps! - pool towels are provided free of charge which is a good touch (but expected from a nice hotel) - no shop in the hotel, but a small spar shop is close, otherwise there are some limited vending machines placed around the hotel! - staff are friendly and helpful! - evening entertainment is ok, otherwise Puerto Rico is about 7€ in a taxi. Overall, would recommend but make sure you take an iron!! "

"Very lovely staff, made it an amazing vacation. Super helpful and lots of stuff to do around the area! Loveddd the all inclusive<3 Only down side is at 1am they ask you to be quiet and stay in one area of the hotel due to children. Would’ve been better if it was adults only."

"Pool and garden areas are great and alway kept clean and tidy. Staff friendly. Rooms good. Breakfast is comprehensive and starts at 7 which is good if you’re going out for the day. Only negatives are - tvs are not smart no Netflix or Amazon YouTube etc… some machinery noise humming in room maybe affect you if a light sleeper. "
