"Jenny was a WONDERFUL host, so very warm and friendly, and she enabled us to get to a bicycle shop to make repairs and dinner as well. We LOVED our stay with her and sent pictures of the three of us back to her. Best Wishes Jenny!"
Huttopia Lake George - Adirondacks

"From the moment you step onto the grounds at Huttopia Lake George, you are transported to a lovely setting of towering forests and glamping luxuries. The staff were extremely kind and helpful answering all of our questions thoroughly and with great care. The walk up to the tent was vigorous but short and reminded us how lucky we are to experience the diverse ecosystem in the Adirondacks. We took a nice hike up towards the top of the huts and found many fungi in the forest. We even came across a lovely bog and a swamp where we stopped to admire the forest and the creatures that dwell in it. The location is perfect for access to the town of Lake George with a 5 minute drive in. We spent most of our vacation at the hut and on the grounds of huttopia enjoying nature and the serene sounds around us. We recommend this destination for anyone who loves to spend time in the outdoors and enjoy disconnecting from the outside world/tech while still being close to civilization and some neighboring activity."
Pine Tree Motel & Cabins

"Charming old fashion Adirondack rustic style / decor individual small cabins (also has motel-styled rooms) - parking either in front of rooms or between cabins, a couple of minutes outside Chestertown, NY, 30 minutes from Schroon Lake, and 45 minutes from Ticonderoga (StarTrek Museum & Fort). Very nice, friendly, and accomidating owners / operators. Breakfast / coffee place "Two Sparrows" 5 minutes down the road. Driveway very well lite / marked at night, although wish those lights had either dimmed or turned off post midnight for a better / darker sleep . . . As it was a very wet / rainy, and cold night - heat worked very qickly / well and found extra pillows and blanket. Plenty of hot water in sink / shower, soap, shampoo, small college refrigerator and microwave provided, however no hairdryer for partner . . . Did not test WiFi as we only stayed for 8 hours total time. Would have wished to have had more time to explore grounds and Chestertown itself."

"Clean, quiet, well-situated, everything you might need. Modern style - really nice alternative when most of the places in the area are Adirondack chic (think quilts and log furniture)."

"Self checkin was very easy. Our door would not shut a couple of times but we figure it out .Nice decor Quaint town We had an issue with our AC but they fixed it right away. Bedding was very nice but bed felt like our heads were tipped down The floor was a little sandy. Very quiet area. Every communication was done by text. . We communicated with Daphne and she was wonderful!"
