"We liked the property. It was close to the ocean and hearing the ocean rise and fall was wonderful for sleeping and meditation. I did not like being placed on the 20th floor of the hotel. I'm aversive to heights. The room was fine and we had a partial view of the ocean. But we also had a good view of the favela bored into the mountainside behind the hotel. "Excellent hotel. Right in front of the beach so you can just walk in and out of the water. Perfect location as it is right in the center of Ipanema and Copacabana so you can go to either beach. Tons of restaurants/grocery stores/bakeries around so no shortage of food and Uber was always available. The hotel offers a breakfast to die for. So yummy and so much variety.
