"Came in the off season, and it was a complete bait and switch. Actual hotel was closed (including pool and restaurant (so no breakfast)). Placed us next door in tiny apartments. Manager gave us the key and left the property. First room had a broken toilet seat so moved us to another one. Staff spoke no English and didn’t understand that we need password for WiFi. Blanket on bed was wet. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but left the next morning."

Our room was spacious and lovely and we even got upgraded for the extra night we decided to stay to one of the beautiful villas. The staff is really the highlight. "Overall, it’s a pretty great hotel, but it’s not worth the price point. Pros: - clean room and shared spaces - very warm staff, super helpful and great service - good breakfast selection - welcome drink and traditional beverage provided - in room amenities (hair dryer, iron, tv with many international channels) are great Cons: - for a newly built hotel there were some small issues that you wouldn’t expect. For example the bathroom door in our unit wouldn’t easily close without a very firm push. - there is a club/restaurant across the street and they were playing very loud music and singing until 3:30 AM and even with the windows closed it could be heard. We were told that the hotel will be undergoing some renovations to help with this soon so hopefully it will be fixed. - location is close to the water and some beaches but a little further from the city centre where most of the shops and restaurants are. We found it difficult to get taxis to the hotel so we walked around 20-30 mins which might pose a challenge if you have mobility issues."
