"The property was in okay condition but I will say that many of the guests were slobs, leaving dirty towels and garbage on the floor outside their rooms. We also felt terrible for some of the employees as guests argued with employees just trying to enforce the rules and keep everyone safe in the waterpark."

"They definitely make you feel like family here, they have a 1:00 p.m. check-in time even though most the times this is our place to stay if we want to turn a day trip into a two-day trip... Really enjoyed our stay recently before and after going to the Mount Washington Auto road.. there's actually quite a few things that are close by drive and even a few things within walking distance including Dollar general and a diner if you go to the right and to the left there's the small town of Milford with a few different places eating establishments and businesses etc. the housekeepers actually do a really good job at this motel. Hard to find a motel nowadays around $100 a night that you can actually walk around with your bare feet not getting dirty. I love the layout how at the most you'll only have one neighbor they're all tiny house layout independent from the check-in check out office. The area is very quiet and your parking space is right by the doorsteps. All of them have a small porch with chairs out front and cigarette ashtrays if that's your thing, some of them are single room tiny homes with everything you need for the night. The vending could be a bit better but for the price you pay it's worth it to know there isn't bed bugs anytime we have stayed the beds are soft and clean."

"Mary’s place was wonderful. She is warm and really wants you to feel at home and comfortable. Her offer of a home baked treat upon arrival was great. Mary had lots of suggestions for the area and truly wanted to make sure you had a good experience. We would definitely return again especially when seeing a concert at Bethel Woods. Mary’s place is just a five minute drive from the venue."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We planned to stay at Lake Wanoka Resort Friday through Sunday, but loved the peace and quiet so much that we added another night. The wonderful staff made it incredibly easy and accommodating. We stayed in Cabin 3, with two bunk beds and a double bed. Everything was very clean, with a full private bathroom, hot water, working A/C, and a Roku TV. There's also a pond for swimming and a fantastic honor-system general store with ice, food, souvenirs, and old-time candy. The staff was extremely pleasant, and having KC Peppers Bar & Grill right there is another huge plus. The surrounding area makes the stay even better. Hartler Farms is minutes away for incredible fresh milk and meat, while Alpine Restaurant & Deli had the best beef bacon and Canadian bacon I've ever had. There are wonderful local dairies, butchers, farms, and restaurants everywhere. You can buy some of the best local meat and dairy around, bring it back, cook an amazing meal, and enjoy the peace of the campground. Well worth our 4+ hour drive. Clean, peaceful, welcoming, and a place we would absolutely return to. Five stars!"

"Very friendly staff members. Nice, spacious room for short stay and small family. Easy access to groceries and amenities. Some items a little dated but that seems normal for a touristy destination. We were able to walk to kayak rentals."
