"We really enjoyed our stay at La Selva. Loved the guided tour that is included and also did a bird tour on the property which was great. "My family and I were in awe of the hotel and the aesthetics were amazing! Everything was so beautiful to look at, even the hallways! We were so impressed with all the details that went into the hotel. We loved the amenities (a big gym, a spa, two pools/hot tub). Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. I had temporarily misplaced my water bottle and one staff member was helpful in trying to track it down- she even called our room later in the day to see if I found it. Our only disappointments were that the basketball hoop was broken, only one tennis court, and I had overlooked the advertised cost of the Father’s Day buffet so I was shocked when we got the bill of $200 for two kids and two adults. It had also been sub par. We had arrived toward the later end of the buffet and the food had been sitting out for hours with lots of flies. I wished we had not done the pricey buffet, but other than that, we were so thrilled by our experience and would definitely come again."

"The property was amazing, so many fun areas to take photos and sit. There was even a garden with all sorts of herbs and veggies to see growing. The tub on the patio was my favorite part, second to the food and spa services. The staff were amazing, I was able to practice my Spanish with them and they were very patient and kind. They even helped with photos, a true all inclusive experience. I had a wonderful stay there and would absolutely stay again. Pura vida!"

"we stayed here during our first night and then our last night while traveling throughout Costa Rica. the hotel is close to the airport, although you would never know it. feels like you are far in the jungle. the rooms are large and beautifully decorated with terraces . the property and landscaping is amazing, especially the sunset pool. I had a massage, and it was excellent in a beautiful facility. We loved our dinners and breakfast at the hotel, and most of all we loved the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, especially the rooms manager. Hope to be back soon!"

"This was our first stop on a first trip to Costa Rica and it was incredible. The team working here is nothing short of incredible. They are all so nice and very helpful! Everything from the welcome drink, to the breakfast, lunch, and dinner were amazing. The animals were plentiful and such a great way to start your trip with kids on the rainforest. We took a frog tour at night and it’s a must do as well. After breakfast, we hit the waterfall trail to some of the most breath taking waterfalls we’ve ever seen! You will not be disappointed to stay and visit here."
