"What an amazing find! This is a lovely old pub with character. Our room was terrific with a really comfy bed, great shower and tea/coffee making facility. Even the hand wash and lotion smelled amazing! The food is a little pricey but you certainly get what you pay for where taste is concerned. We'd totally recommend the beef and ale pie which was the best we'd ever had. The pub is about 10 minutes from Parkway park and ride which is great for avoiding congestion charge and city centre parking. All in all, we had a fabulous weekend and would highly recommend this pub. "

"Really liked the concept, nicely decorated and loved the diner. Downfall was room wasn’t the cleanest when we arrived. Stains all down the door where something had been spilt, a bad smell due to something left in the toilet from before we arrived! Air con didn’t work as it had a maintenance symbol on it, but luckily they brought us a fan. Food was lovely in the diner however and we would still like to return one day"

"This was my third stay at The Cherry Tree and it is rapidly becoming my go-to when I need to stay over near Harwell. It is very conveniently located, the rooms are clean and surprisingly large. The pub itself has some atmosphere and the staff has always been really friendly. Amenities are basic as you would expect, but I think they provide really decent value for money."

"Room was nice, bed sheets and towels were clean, nice to have both a coffee machine and a kettle and branded toiletries as well as travel kits (shower cap, toothbrush etc…). However I had a street facing room and the windows were so thin that the bed was literally shaking when trucks were on the road. Despite earplugs, I couldn’t fall asleep: the bed shaking would wake me up in fear someone entered the room while I was asleep. The aircon/heating was also quite loud. I didn’t try the breakfast since I had to leave before they started serving it (7am weekdays)."

"Parking was very easy and secure. The town centre is only a few metres away, so the location is excellent. The room was also very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated."
