"Front desk is always friendly, but when I returned to my room late the television was not connected to any broadcasting source. I felt it was too late to complain. I had encountered the owner’s very energetic and friendly pitbull in the lobby earlier and didn’t want to get him excited. Everything was powered up and the set was connected to the box, but no transmission."

"This has been nicely upgraded. This was very clean and the check in staff was very friendly. The pool is on the small side. This is an extremely easy drive to Okoboji and was worth the drive. If you are looking for 4 star, move along. If you are looking for cleanliness and friendly staff, this is your place."

"The place was awesome except there was no microwave in the room. With most of the restaurants being closed down because they're only open seasonal you should at least consider that and have a microwave in the room. That is the only reason I didn't give five stars"

"Overall a decent place to stay. It is showing some age but the room was pretty clean and the bed/pillows were comfortable. No frills but if you are just looking for a decent place to sleep this is ok. The air conditioner worked great but it’s the old style so you are in close proximity to the noice they make. Nice TV, bathroom and vanity old school but very functional."

"The room fit our need perfectly. Very accommodating by putting us in a two bed room so our dogs were comfortable. Only charged us for one which was unexpected but appreciated."
