"We had a great time here. The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was fantastic. It’s on the high street so you couldn’t be closer to the town - I could see the Abbey and Tor from my window. It doesn’t really have parking but there is a council run car park directly opposite and we didn’t struggle to find a space on it."

"The single room was fine and reasonable value (the doors do shut loudly). The staff were all very friendly, helpful and impressive (excepting one rather sour lady behind the bar!). They were very polite and kind, it makes a big difference to how you feel about a hotel. The food was really good and not expensive, excellent value. The drinks selection was extensive. There's plenty of outside seating. All in all, I definitely recommend the hotel and would happily stay there again."

"The hotel was clean and well maintained. The rooms were quite small, but decorated beautifully, the bed was comfortable, The staff were polite. Unfortunately there wasn't any WiFi available and there was no signal to the television."
