The hotel is so old and needs to be revamped. We paid 116$ (tax included) per night … I think it is expensive for what we get. However, it is so close to the airport and we could leave the car parked there for the weekend… that’s amazing !

It was difficult for me to find the airport shuttle pick up in Miami, the first staff I spoke to was blunt in directions, however, the other staff member was extremely helpful (was my first time in Miami). Once I got to the area, the shuttle bus was on time. Some staff were helpful. My door key stopped working before I checked out. The amenities/ furniture was outdated.

The staff was very nice. But the property itself was very dirty, and not well maintained. The elevator situation was a little scary. It rattled and would stop and go. And the second elevator just didn’t work. Breakfast was lacking.

The hotel gave us 1 facecloth and 1 bath towel. Rooms were very dated. Shuttle to the port was very organized, and the driver was nice. Hotel staff was nice, they just didn't have enough towels and blankets (it was a bit chilly upon arrival). Hotel definitely needs to be upgraded.

The staff are helpful and respectful. The facility is in desperate need of updating and upgrading. Rooms not really clean. Beds very uncomfortable. Sheets and blankets should never ever be used in hotels. The breakfast, do yourself a favor and skip it!! Even the coffee is horrible. Some foods need to be kept cold.. but, …. I have been in La Quinta hotels before in other cities and loved them. Not sure what happened at this location!!

The hotel look old. The bathtub, room doors, zinc are old at least doors should be painted. Our bathroom needs a new bathtub. Didn’t have a fresh odor. The hallways rugs was very dirty. Breakfast should have at least one meat. The guy who was working when we check out was not too friendly, we checked out very early and he didn’t said , good morning or have a good day or have a good trip. Good comments: I have to said that I didn’t hear noises from other guess and the staff from our first day and second day were very pleasant. Parking was good.

It's a bargain next to the airport. I took the shuttle to the Car Rental and just walked over. I was comfortable but others might be spooked walking around the airport industrial area late night. The building is in disrepair. Duct tape holding the down the elevator call button on 3rd floor. My air worked. Pool area was nice. Bed was clean. Free breakfast was of the lowest quality foods but filled me up. Staff was nice, some talked more syllables per second then I could understand but would slow down if asked. Shuttle to the cruise ship was on time for pick up and deliver was fast and only $15. Great stay for bargain and location hunters. Convenient location for walkers since all ground transportation could be found at the car rental. Bus, monorail and Tri-rail can be found. Not convenient for grabbing a quick bite. Next time I will have Dominos delivered. Thanks for reading.

This hotel is very dirty. There was a dirty rag left in the shower. The floors had so much dirt on it you could clearly see it. My husband and I both could not wait to check out. Luckily it was just one night before our cruise. The breakfast was really much. All I really saw that would’ve been good were the make it yourself waffles. It was so bad and dirty I slept in pants and a t-shirt. The best part was our transportation to the cruise port.

Parking was a bit limited. The trees hang very low over half of the spots. If you have an suv, the branches will scratch your roof. The hotel itself is in very poor condition. Its literally falling apart. The first room we had, the ac did not work and the iron had some sort of tar on it that ruined my wife's dress. Airplanes fly right over the hotel, even into the middle of the night. Conveniently located next to the airport though. The staff kindly moved our room into an upgrade, which simply meant a bigger room. The tv remote barely worked and the dish receiver seemed confused. At least the ac worked! Breakfast was low quality. Decent to fill up on if they dont run out of things.

For a quick booking this is the place. But there are serious issues with the hotel and holds and maintenance of the facility. The hotel is in need of much needed repairs and updates. La Quinta by Wyndham has the real potential to be a lot more but for now it’s basically a 2 star hotel. Great breakfast and nice gym room.

Check-in was slowwwwww...I had a very late check-in after 11pm. One night till the next flight. No bath towels in the room. Just a hand towel. The room felt heavy/musty and unclean...I struggled to lay on unclean sheets... When I lifted the sheets there were a long strand of hair and small dirt like stuff. The housekeeper woke me up 4 times... knocking on the door with the (DO NOT DISTURB SIGN) when i had to yelled I have a late check-out. I repeated each time... "I have a late check-out!!" Def will not be returning.
