We stayed for a Lady Gaga concert that was taking place at the Kaseya Center. It’s very close to various places, usually 8-12 minutes rides. We had a lovely time, the staff are so nice and welcoming. The room was clean and the AC freezing cold, which I love. Had a wonderful time there!

Great location in walking distance to downtown Miami. Staff very friendly, shout out to Zoe. In historic Miami Harlem, this cute hotel loaded with memorabilia. Many old black athletes, musicians, artists, and authors stayed there. Rooms were comfortable, clean, and the A/C sufficient. They even offered a nice breakfast snacks to start your day. We were allowed to check our bags in early, before we headed off for our cruise. The cruise port is very close to the hotel, so it is a great location for cruise travelers. I highly recommend this establishment. I give it 5 Stars across across the board for price, approximately to the cruise port/ downtown Miami, cleanliness, staff, and comfort of the rooms!….Steven Yeager

Some of the kindest staff I've ever encountered. Room is very cute with the theme of each musician. Free parking is a great bonus. The neighborhood is not very walkable but being close to clubs and downtown ubers are all around.

The staff was nice and friendly! The room was filthy, the bedding was dirty, nails in the door holding it together. We slept on top of the blankets with our clothes on and the shower curtain was moldy and dirty. I didn't shower before going on my cruise in Maima. It doesn't even deserver 1 star.

The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed chitchatting with them, asking for directions and recommendations for delicious food in the area. Hotel location is great! It’s very close to many attractions in the area. Takes about 10min by car to Bayside Market. The hotel itself is very charming! The rooms are themed and a good size. Bed was super comfortable! The only part that we didn’t quite like were the pillows but that might just be a matter of preference. Thank you for a very pleasant stay Dunns Josephine hotel!

We arrived early and they kept our luggage while we explored the area. The bathroom water temperature was an issue, though. It won't stay constant so as you are taking a bath, you would have to adjust it all the time. Breakfast was very simple but I wish there was water, at least. The only saving grace is the staff was courteous and helpful.

We stayed here for one night while on a long transit between NYC and the Caribbean. The stay was comfortable, the check in was smooth and the staff were nice. Comfortable bed. Decor and furniture are dated, but I think that's part of the point given the historical nature of the hotel. Bathroom didn't have any soap and bottles of water were not complimentary. Would stay here again for a night or two, but far from luxury.
