"This little hotel is situated directly in the old city center, just a few steps from the castle. Every other part of the city is easily accessible on foot or by public transport. Because of the narrow streets, the hotel's surroundings are exceptionally calm, which makes it a peaceful spot to rest and relax. "Ruken Konagi is a beautiful old building in a convenient location. The beds were reasonably comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Unfortunately there is no sound insulation, so you can hear everything that happens in the building - talking in the hallways, other alarms etc. Breakfast was basic, but acceptable. "

"Centrally located, very walkable. The room is well equipped. Cleaning can be improved a bit (I saw some dust under the bed). Wifi works on the ground floor only. Free tea/coffee with biscuits available near the reception though it would be nice if they offered a proper breakfast. But all in all it's a good deal. We liked the owner but felt that pre trip communication could have been better and getting into the hotel late at night was trickier than we wanted.
