"The hotel was lovely, very modern. Close to the beach, local restaurants and shops. The staff were so friendly that after moving to a different hotel in Ksamil that we had pre booked - on our way back (having checked out 4 days prior but sarenda is closer to the port and we had quite a few hours to kill) they let us store our suitcases there for no extra cost even helped us load them in and out the taxi. Cannot fault this hotel at all they could maybe use a pool but they’re so close to the sea...

The Blue Eye in Albania is one of the most beautiful sights. Crystal clear water bubbles up from at least 50 m deep as the deep blue center of a spring. Surrounding this spring is lush foliage along the rushing river. Definitely a place to visit if you are traveling between Saranda and Gjirokastra.
