No offer of another room The breakfast 'display' is dismal! The continental section is not even worth the effort. No pride. No music in the breakfast room 4/10. Bit of a joke"

"What a gorgeous Yorkshire small market- town hotel. We arrived on a sunny April day and enjoyed drinks outside on the pavement terrace facing the market square. Inside is a comfortable, tastefully decorated sitting room as well as a bar area and restaurant. A beautiful wide staircase led to our room which was also lovely. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant was excellent too."
