I stayed here two nights, preparing for my flight back to Bali. Actually, this was an excellent transfer hotel. The pool rocked and the restaurant was very good. There is not really a lot going on around the hotel, but if your just waiting for a flight, you couldn’t do better than this gem.

The grounds and pool are nice. I agree with other reviews that it's a perfect place next to the airport with a free shuttle for a transit type stay. Clean, comfy, nice and excellent value.

Chambres très sympa mais l'entrée fait flipper et laisse penser qu'on arrive sur une base militaire. Quelques fleurs et un panneau d'accueil ne seraient pas de trop pour éviter un sentiment d'angoisse en arrivant.

Gutes Transithotel

Das Hotel ist 15 Minuten vom Flughafen und bietet einen kostenlosen Transfer. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Es gibt Bauarbeiten auf dem Hotelgelände und die Nähe zum Flughafen bedeutet zwangsweise etwas Fluglärm. Für ein Transithotel nimmt man das aber in Kauf. Restaurant ist 24 Stunden am Tag geöffnet und bietet sowohl indonesische als auch westliche Gerichte an.

Nice transit hotel

It's a modern hotel 15 min away from the Medan Airport with free airport shuttle service. Just perfect as a transit hotel - personnel is very friendly and helpful, restaurant is open 24/7, it's clean and has all necessary facilities. There is some construction on site and nearby airport naturally results in some noise, but this is okay if you choose the hotel for its proximity to the airport.

Good Airport Transit Hotel in Medan, Indonesia

Great Transit Hotel. Once on the property there is a small convience store. Thong's Restaurant opens early, six am I think. I have ordered food from room service at about 9:00 pm. Much of the food there is Indonesian, with Western and Chinese dishes. All of it delicious and reasonably priced. The grounds are beautiful for walks. There is a playground for children. The rooms are far enough from the things mentioned above that it's quiet for sleeping. I have stayed there five or six times. Every visit my review would read the same. The only improvement I could think of is a broader selection of Television channels. The have large, flat screen TVs with few channels. The only English is a news channel. Again, if you want a modern, extreamly clean and quiet room, 10 minutes from KNO with free airport shuttle available, this is a great deal.

The hotel and staff are very nice. It is very close to the airport, but there is not much to do on or outside the hotel compound. Lot's of construction going on, but you won't notice it from your room. The restaurant was terrible. Food was really bad and waiters were not kind in any way.

Disappointed even for transit

Staff can’t figure out what to do when they forgot to prepare my take-away breakfast. Just said “it ‘s a misunderstanding,no breakfast for you” you kept me waiting for 5-10minutes for nothing, i thought you were finding solution. if you started preparing sandwich for me, i would have eaten it by that time. You just called called made confused face and came to me with nothing!!!!!! No word sorry fron your mouth!!!!???? No more this hotel

Never again...

Whenever I have to travel via KualaNamu (KNO) airport through Medan Indonesia, Thongs WAS my Hotel of choice but no longer. It has gotten worse for service and extra charges every single visit. My last visit I ordered a beer and they brought it to me lukewarm. Then, when I asked for ice, they had the audacity to charge me for it.

緑に囲まれたホテル

クアラナム空港に夜２２時３０分頃に到着し、このホテルを利用しました。利用日当日の昼に、エクスペディアのサイトから空港に迎えに来てくれるようメッセージを送りましたが、残念なことに返信はありませんでした。送迎を依頼する場合などは、電話で連絡する方が確実のようです。ホテルは広い敷地内に建物が分散しているリゾートホテル風の作りになっています。緑に囲まれており、蛙や虫の声を聞きながら気持ちよくすごせました。部屋は清潔でとても快適でした。

I didn't see the beach

A fine place to stay. Fittings and fixtures of extremely good quality. Room service. Some building still being completed, i think a swimming pool is being constructed if so it will add to the amenities. Drawbacks, need taxi to get to shops.
