"This was our second time staying at this hotel. We like it a lot. The location is great for the city centre and also for getting to Meadowhall. It’s not far to walk to the universities so it’s great for open day visits. There’s also on-site parking for £15 per day. We particularly like having the convenience of breakfast included. Our stay was perfect."
"The hotel is situated by Sheffield Quays and is 10 minute walk to the city centre.
We paid £130 for a room on a Saturday night. Parking £10 night, They wanted another £25 for the dog which is double what most hotels charge. Breakfast is £10/head extra. All these extra charges does NOT make this a budget hotel
Parking is not strainght forward. - there ae 7 allocated slots at the front of the Hotel that are usually full. NCP is at the back of the hotel but you have to walk through where the cars enter the building, as the pedestrian entrace would not recognise the ticket.
Check in was easy enough without a queue. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. but the bathroom extractor did not work, The shower head was damaged and would only operate on very hot. There is no Aircon so this room so it would be stifiling in the summer. However we were situated by the fire door that banged most of the night with noisy guests using it.
I would rate this hotel at Mid 3 stars

"Room is clean and modern. Staff were brilliant. Breakfast is good standard, room for improvement. Pool was below standard and a few gym goers were wearing sandles in the pool. Water is not clean and murky. "
"Place was good overall, the doors are incredibly noisy and slam every time you go through them (which if you go to the loo in the night not only wakes up your partner but I imagine the people sleeping on the neighbouring apartments) and the windows dont seem like that have ever been cleaned. These things aside a nice stay. "
"Rooms are not particularly pleasant. Not a cleanliness issue but they look quite worn down. The brown stool in the corner of the room looks out of place. Space isn't great.
Staff and the equipment at reception is a real issue. The laptop/computer used on thr day of my checkin was clearly quite slow and unable to process information quickly. I didn't feel the staff member on duty had control of the situation and was flustered quite easily, muttering away. I'm sure it wasn't an easy situation but it didn't come across as very professional to me.
Distance to the city centre is a relatively short walk so it has that going for it.
Generally from payment, room and staff perspective, there are better options in Sheffield. "
"We booked a junior suite for our pre-wedding night and the room provided was very different to the listing. The only difference between the suite & the double rooms our family stayed in was having a big tv, Nespresso machine and two small sized (broken) robes. We were on the corner, therefore having a lot of windows too.
We made the most of our stay, but overall wish we stayed elsewhere. The bed was uncomfortable, pillows were very lumpy. The carpet, chairs & lamps had absolutely seen better days. Very dated place, and not worth the price. Staff were lovely though. "
