"The property, staff and cleanliness were all great. The breakfast was weak. Pretty much gas station pastries. They'd be better off not saying they do it at all. "
"Everything was fine indoors, the exterior could be improved. Outside one cracked window looked like a junkyard with old cars.
The price was right as was the location. Basic accommodations"
"We took some time to absorb the atmosphere of this place while staying 3 nights for the XC World Cup. The Grand Ballroom with its Speakeasy bar and analog games, the fitness room… We loved it, and the restaurant dinners were also excellent and memorable."
"Haha! My review?! All good at check in. Once in the room, you can see that there is a space between the front door itself and the door frame. The wallpaper is peeling off the wall in the bathroom and the back window doesn’t lock. As I settle for the night, I realize that it’s getting cold and try to set up the heater only to realize the little heater under the bathroom counter is the only one working which is not enough for the room. Went to tell the front desk, the lady came to the room, went to check the fuses, couldn’t figure out what was wrong, called a handyman, he arrived in a timely manner, checked the outlet and noticed something had burnt in it. He replaced the outlet, but it didn’t fixed the problem. I asked for portable heater, the handyman brought two but only one worked. He ended up leaving it was past 10:30pm. By then, the bathroom heater was no longer working… So I slept with my winter jacket and Sorel boots on. Earlier, the lady at the front desk suggested I move in another motel across the street but it was already late at night and I think it was odd that they still had room available across the street, in a motel (Carriage House Motor Inn… that you can’t book online) during a sold out weekend in LP. I asked for a compensation for the disruption and lack of heating, they said the manager was difficult about this and at check out, I was told I have to contact Expedia directly."
"We had a great stay! The breakfast buffet was amazing, room was super nice and all the offerings at the lodge - from morning coffee, to an ice cream parlor visit after the hot tubs were excellent. We hope to go back one day!"
