"Didn't have breakfast. Went to bar/restaurant but waited a while and no one came to seat us or assist us, so we left and went elsewhere.
Location was great. Room was clean but poorly designed. Bed was not comfortable and faced TV sideways. Lights were awful; no reading light over bed. Lights in room were pretty much all or nothing. We weren't told about arrangement for parking until it was too late and we had already had prepaid. "
"Room was clean but cold. Temo on air con set to 21 degrees but felt very cold. Could not be changed. There was a dyson fan in the room too but no remote control.
Bar food was very slow. We waited at least 45 mins for our food. Steak was practically cold and poor quality too.
Breakfast was low quality. Fully self service with no choice of coffees.
Dissapointing for a 4star hotel. "
"We recently stayed at the Maldron Hotel Parnell Square for nine nights. While the location was excellent and very convenient for exploring Dublin, I was disappointed by several aspects of our stay.
Room servicing was inconsistent — one day I had to request toilet rolls, and on another, the servicing was delayed until quite late and never very through.
I also had an evening meal in the restaurant one night and ordered the burger, which was advertised as a handmade double meat pattie. Unfortunately, it turned out to be two freezer-style patties covered in cheese and was quite unappetising. When the manager noticed I hadn’t eaten it, he kindly offered a complimentary dessert, but no refund or discount was provided despite my request.
Overall, while the location and general facilities were good, the service and dining experience did not meet expectations."
"Great location. The shared room was utilitarian and small for four people but smart design with a separate toilet and shower in the room; bed was comfy and private. Easy self check-in and check-out. Good wifi. Comfortable lounge area. Bar had a limited selection. Did not like that there were signs prohibiting outside food."
