"This is a poor excuse for a Fairmont and it's isolated so you need a vehicle or taxis to go anywhere. Staff who fail do not appear to suffer any consequences. The hotel has three beautiful rooms but none of them were in use. It's really difficult to access the spa so prople with disabilities beware. Our room was the smallest we've ever had a Fairmont and its location was singularly inconvenient. Thee were only two places to eat and nothing nearby. Some staff were wonderful but too many were not. And the hotel is more expensive than better ones nearby. I love Fairmont Hotels but I can't recommend this one"

"We previously stayed at this hotel and chose to come back because we had such a good experience, but the second stay was not great. We were completely ignored at check-in and had to use the “make your own key” check-in machine. We also chose this hotel because it said it had laundry facilities. They don’t have a do-it-yourself facilities, they have a desk drop-off where they send it out at 6:00am and you get the clean laundry back the next day. The woman at the desk was really snooty while explaining the situation and called my teen a “little boy” which he did NOT appreciate. She did, however, tell us where the closest laundry facility was. There were also only 2 towels, glasses and waters when there were 4 occupants (that was one of the touches I really appreciated about our previous stay, they had 5 of everything for our group of 5) and when I went to the desk to ask for more the man at the desk who had switched out with the earlier woman, seemed incredibly bothered when I asked for 2 more towels. The man who dropped them off to our room later was nice, though."

"An average outdated Irish hotel. Room was large, but outdated with multiple signs of wear. My TV also did not work. The bed was comfortable. Pool are was very disappointing. Very cold water. Again, very old pool with signs of wear. It needs a very deep clean, or upgrade. Wasn’t the relaxing swim I hoped for. Breakfast was standard Irish hotel breakfast. Fine, nothing special. Free amble parking was great. Wouldn’t be rushing back or recommending to a friend. It simply served a purpose for one night only."
