"A very warm welcome and early check-in which was much appreciated. Check-in was highly efficient. Doormen were very friendly and eager to assist. If anything, front of house service was a little overbearing. I fully appreciate that staff are striving to deliver the most attentive service, but at times it felt more intrusive rather than helpful. The room was finished to a fair standard, but lacked the luxurious feel of 5*. The breakfast buffet is adequate, but not outstanding. There is a basic selection of pastries, cereals, yoghurts and fruit. Staff were slow to replenish the buffet and the service at breakfast was somewhat lacking. The fitness facility is poor, but I am extremely grateful to a manager who arranged for me to use a gym at a neighbouring hotel. The price point of this hotel is excellent and the location is superb. "
