Our stay at Agli Archi Dimore Storiche was absolutely wonderful. Michele the owner is so kind, he picked us up from the car park and drove us into the old city of Matera. He showed us on a map the best walking path and sights. We can’t wait to visit again!

Fine place to stay

Great stay. Michael our host was super helpful guiding us there. Park outside Sissi and take the small red bus into town, 1.50 each get off at the last stop it’s 100 yards from there. Nice room with a view. Lots of stairs, that’s matera for you. The room was spacious but the bed was quite firm so keep that in mind.

Lovely buidling and location.

It's at the heart of Sassi and the gorge. Next to famous film location. Could have upgraded their aircon as it is a little warm but the staff was friendly to give us electric fan, but overall stay was ready good.

Excellent host who met us at the bus station which is in the new city of Matera. We should have gone by train from Bari not bus! The old stone buidling is typical of the ancient quarter and well located for restaurants, bars and is in the main historic area. The host is friendly and the place is highly recommended.

Nagyon jó helyen szuper kényelmes szállás

Sajnos pont építkeznek a szomszédban és emiatt elég nagy a por illetve reggel 8-tól már zajonganak. Csak ezért a gyengébb értékelésem. Nagyon kedves a házigazda, nagyon kényelmes az ágy, a párna minőségét külön kiemelném. Nagyon jó helyen van, könnyű mindenhonnan vissza találni.
