"Wonderful hotel/hostel close to Tayrona. The private rooms have large floor to ceiling windows, and it was magical to watch the lightning and thunderstorms at night. "We had a wonderful stay at Cayena. The rooms are spotless, beds comfortable, warm showers and ac worked well. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and we loved that we could go to the beach club next door which was a bit more active or stay at our hotel which was quieter. The food at both restaurants was delicious. I would highly recommend Cayena if you’re looking to explore this area. "

"The owner was very very generous, friendly and helpful. He treated us as if we were part of his family. You don't get this treatment very often. The location is very close to the entrance El Zaino for the Tayrona Park. The vegetation around the property is fantastic. The only negative side is that the cabins are very close by the road and there is a lot of noise day and night. For the day it might not be a huge problem, but at night if you have poor sleep you might suffer from the noise."
