It's a quiet place not to visited, at least not when went in Feb 2015.
Best thing you can drive right to where you'll set up (Unlike the Tayrona Park, where you have to walk 2 hours from the parking lot to the camp sites)

"The cabin was an excellent calming retreat listening to only the sounds of the birds and nature. The steps up to the cabins can be a bit steep (up to 30cm/ 12 inches) but assuming you are there to hike Park Tayrona it's a good warm up for the trails in the park. Breakfast and dinners were excellent and Kevin our front desk person, arranged an early breakfast so we could get to the hikes at break of dawn. Kevin also gave us a map outlining the hike options, distance of each hike and horse back...

"The staff was great... they were super friendly, welcoming, and helpful with organizing transportation, reservations, etc. The room itself was pretty standard but the view from the 2nd floor was amazing and the deck was great for enjoying an evening beer. And they cleaned the room very well each day, it was spotless even after tracking in sand and dirt. The beach was incredible and we enjoyed the lounge beds. Would definitely stay again!"

"This is a truly gorgeous spot, right on the top of a mountain. We were really sad we had only booked one night as a stop-over driving down the coast from Mayapo to Cartagena. We want to find an excuse to go back and really enjoy it! Speaking of driving, if you are arriving in your own vehicle be advised that the road up is quite steep and not paved, although there are concrete strips for your wheels most of the way. Download maps for offline use and consider getting a ride if your car isn't up for it. Hope to be back soon!!"

"Wonderful hotel/hostel close to Tayrona. The private rooms have large floor to ceiling windows, and it was magical to watch the lightning and thunderstorms at night. Our room was very comfortable, and we loved the hammocks and outdoor seating as well. The restaurant served great food, and it was nice to have room service on extra stormy nights. Good WiFi to work or stream. The staff was kind and helpful. A few minutes walk from the beach, and five minute bus ride to the El Zaino entrance of Tayrona. We loved it so much we extended our stay. "

"At our arrival we were greeted with a broad smile from this young man named “Jesus”, he was efficient and polite. The reservation transaction went smooth and we had a minimal waiting time, the room was impeccable clean and comfortable. The food at the restaurant is extremely delicious and with a big variety. Our check out was taken by “valentina”, a young hostess who was also effective and attentive in every detail. Walkable, quiet and safe. I would highly recommend this hotel, good for the price, clean and well located. If i ever go back to Minca, i would definitely stay there without hesitation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
