"It is a very nice hotel overlooking a really beautiful medieval town. The staff were genuinely very nice and helpful. The food at the restaurant was awesome and reasonably priced and the breakfast was very good too. The swimming pool is great and was open late enough to enjoy it even after a day on the road. We will definitely go back to this hotel and recommend it to everyone. Our only regret was not to stay longer."

"The Deux Chèvre is a fabulous find. Situated in the heart of the village of Gevrey-Chanbertin, it so close and walking distance to everything the village has to offer. The rooms are exceptionally well maintained, and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Sebastian, the owner and manager, is there on site everyday to address any issues or question you may have. Everyone there is always willing to help. Imagine sitting after dinner or your drive to Burgundy villages and putting up your feet in the patio next to the pool and enjoying a glass of fine Burgundy while looking out into prime Gevrey vineyards. An idyllic sojourn for the inspired traveler."

"Amazing property in Burgundy country that was perfect for a two day reset after a week of traveling. Everything was amazing. The staff even welcomed us with a bottle of champagne for my wife’s birthday. We enjoyed our room, the surrounding nature, the pool, everything. We will be back. Merci!"

"We chose Hotel Val Vert for its location between Provence and Paris. We arrived fairly late and were able to have a lovely dinner right next door at a steakhouse. The room was very simple, clean and accommodating for 4 adults. The breakfast was amazing and we were so glad we chose to have it! A full buffet with many lovely and delicious items. The staff was super helpful and spoke English, which was a help for us. We would most definitely stay again should our travels take us to the area."

"Michel and Asja were amazing hosts and cooks. Very friendly and amazing people! The owner is from Belgium and is a recreational pilot. Super friendly and lets you feed the horses, really cool experience and just nice people! Top notch French food and highly recommend, especially if you’re into aviation!"

"A chance encounter to break up a long journey back from Meribel to the UK. We were very pleased with every aspect of the stay. The place is beautifully decorated and ultra clean. We had some home cooked Chinese food which went down well with all the family, even accommodating gluten allergy. Next time we are passing we would definitely stay again."

"It was a stop half way between the north and the south, we wanted to try somewhere new. It is completely basic, hence the price, but just off the motorway, easy to get to. Easy check-in, rooms clean. The shower wasn’t great but otherwise all good. The tv wasn’t plugged in for some reason and it took two of us to plug it in as it was very awkward. We had breakfast and it was decent, the lady working it was very nice. The actual village is absolutely stunning, very picturesque. All in all, a good stay"
