"Visited hotel for our anniversary and had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect and near by all amenities. The reception staff at check in and the concierge made us feel very welcome with a lovely glass of Prosecco and a tour of the hotel. We booked a junior suite with hot tub that was really spacious and clean. We ate in both the cocktail bar and their Thai restaurant Mizumi and both were exceptional. Every staff member that we encountered couldn’t do enough for you and always with a smile. Will definitely be back and highly recommend."

"My husband and I recently stayed at the Ambleside Salutation Hotel in the Lake District, and I genuinely cannot recommend it highly enough. Nestled right in the heart of Ambleside, the hotel is surrounded by stunning natural beauty. Our room overlooked a gorgeous waterfall, and waking up to the soothing sound of flowing water and a view of the hills was pure magic. It felt like a peaceful, luxurious escape wrapped in nature. The Room: Wow – our room was massive! Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and designed for real comfort. It had everything we needed and more. "Lovely hotel, currently undergoing refurbishment. But no impact on experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of nice touches in the room. I have already recommended it to several people and I will certainly return. We were a family of 5 and the kids also remarked on how impressive it was, they enjoyed playing tennis and having a swim after dinner. Food was wonderful with an excellent choice, we enjoyed both our dinner and breakfast. *Highly recommend *"

"The hotel is ideally situated - while not being in an immediately picturesque location, its proximity to the M6, A66 and Penrith North Lakes railway station make it the perfect base for exploring the beauty of the Lake District in one direction and Yorkshire in the other. The staff are excellent, particularly in the FYR restaurant: friendly, helpful and attentive. The food is equally impressive and the hotel itself is clean, comfortable and a pleasure to stay in. "
