"All my communication with the Soundry was via text after I made the reservation. Instead of reading further, I assumed it was like any other hotel accomodation. It is not. As they tell you, check-in is at 4 pm. The hotel does not have a guest lobby with receptionist and you cannot enter until you receive a code to open the front door. There is a big QR code outside the front door which does not lead to anything except a greeting. And, communication is via a 'bot. So, it is a pretty cold, rather than welcoming rental. The room itself was clean and well appointed. There's no light by the bed, only an overhead. To watch tv you must login to one of your own streaming applications. There is street parking available. An interesting thing is the back of the hotel is full of Weber grills, lawn furniture and a few picnic tables. In the lobby area there is a popcorn machine with no popcorn, a coffee pot with no coffee and a vending machine where you give your credit card and then it senses, and charges you for what it thinks you selected. Would I stay here again? Probably not. I like to think I am a valued guest. I felt like I was in a factory run by robots. "

"The location was great not too far from all the bars and restaurants. Breakfast was way better than I expected as every day they changed it up. I would have given 5*, however, we had an issue with the shower. Day 1 we didn’t use but next morning we did and the temperature was scolding hit my skin was red. So we contacted front desk about it, next day we was worse ice cold but sink had normal water temperature had to use sink. The next day it was scolding hot again we kept telling them till last day they sent a guy up who said they were aware of the problem and offered to move us to another room. That was our last night didn’t make sense. Not sure why they would even put someone in a room that has issues like that. Everything was good."

"Breakfast was okay, clean room, excellent and friendly staff. Wasn't aware before hand though that construction of a new stadium next door was going on. Noisy at times and a lot of dust. "

"Zero issues and we were very happy with our stay. Friendly staff, clean room, breakfast was fresh and quickly stocked during busy times. Good location for us and the sights taken or seen. Having a market not far is a nice touch for the forgotten things too."

"A cheap place to stay - you get what you pay for. Exterior doors that have wide cracks even when closed, trash piled up around the overflowing trash can in the hall, missing baseboards, a refrigerator/freezer that wasn’t working the first day, no cups or anything in the mini kitchen, no coffee maker, cheap scratchy linens - to name a few issues. One plus - the hot breakfast did include a pancake station, eggs (powdered I’m sure), mini roasted potatoes and some kind of really flat sausage(?) patties. But no bowls for the cereal, only one flavor of tea bag and something called maple flavored pancake topping. "
