"The apartment is what people should expect for the price. It is older but it is clean, tidy & very comfy.
Communication before arrival was great. We had an ocean view room & knew about the stairs, car parking, & surrounding area. Check-in was seamless & staff were friendly, welcoming & helpful.
The balconies are small. Apartments are designed for 4 but the balconies could really only host 2, maybe 3 people if you brought out an extra chair.
Plenty of comfy couch space for a group of 4. The kitchen is very well equipped to self-cater. plus a full sized fridge/freezer. There’s a dishwasher & plenty of equipment to do washing up.
We had trouble streaming on the TV. We could have logged into Netflix but We couldn’t access the Google for other apps. Location is PRIME! The French bakery (Envie) is amazing & there are so many places on Aerodrome Road.
Lighting at the table was dim. We had office work to do & it was a bit hard.
There are no blackout curtains. We thought this odd in the bedrooms for the early sunrises. Plenty of pillows was good as they were very thin. A valance was off in the twin room, and showed an old ripped bed base. We slept okay & it was very clean with plenty of warm blankets.
Bathroom light is delayed turning on; don’t shut the door until it’s lit. Shower was hot but the pressure was terrible. Hard to wash long hair & It stays steamy with no fan. Washer/dryer was perfect & there’s an air dry rack too. Wifi was consistently good. Easy walks to surf clubs"
