"We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Domaine Jean-Got. The hosts were very friendly, spoke good English, and the check-in smooth. The domaine is close to the river and the small town of Branne, well located to get to Saint Emilion and a few other nice villages. Most of all though we just enjoyed relaxing on site on the terrace and pool. We also loved the miniature donkeys! Just so you know when booking, the jacuzzi and sauna are not included and cost an extra €75 per session."

"First of all it should be pointed out that the flat is in a senior citizens home. Slightly strange but unless you keep very strange hours then it's not a problem. "The hotel was nicely appointed and clean. When we checked in, the room's air conditioner was not working so they put us in another room that was an upgrade from our initial reservations but charged us the same price as our original reservation. The staff were very pleasant and helpful given we didn't speak much French. The hotel is conveniently located within the Bordeaux city center so walking to restaurants and public transportation was made easier."
